I know there are some pretty die hard fans out there for Acquire the Fire and if you wanted to help promote this year, you can sign up at this web address and enter yourself for different competitions.

Hey Mid-West Youth Leaders!
I know it’s been a while. You’ll have to forgive me. Going forward my goal will be to get some updates and posts on here at least twice a week. Please forgive me. I do want to share some exciting news with you … I HAVE A CALL TEAM, great new interns that will be assissting me with assissting YOU! Here is the great team. Maybe later this week, I’ll get a picture up. Leah Galito and James Lindeman are going to help give some direction and keep everyone on task. They are the team’s captains. We also have Keith Laverty and Ana Reissman who are from Indiana. Jaime Ahl and Kyle Belvail, from Cali. Morgan Baures from our glorious cheese state, Wisconsin. Dustin Turner from Michigan. And Liz Delgadillo helped promote for me on Amherst, MA and will now be checking on the team for Indy for me and making sure you guys are getting what you need.
Some people have been concerned about the event being only 1 day this year but trust me you won’t be missing out on anything, we get the challenge of packing it all in, in less time. The team got to see the event in St. Louis this past weekend and trust me they will tell you that you don’t want to miss this year.
Call me for more details on that, 903-324-8239 or email, shawn.vrieling@teenmania.org

Hello!
Let me start by seeing if anyone attended the Hillsong Concert in Indianapolis? It was a little out of the city, was at the Gathering Place. Shoot me a comment or shout out if you were there. We had a booth at the back and there seemed to be a lot of people who have heard of ATF and were glad we’re coming back to Indy instead of returning to Muncie. I am excited about coming to Indy this year with a BattleCry Event!
Updates:
1 - Muncie Attendees from last year, many of you placed a registration last year for the Indianapolis event this coming year. You should see the charge on your credit card this week as promised for Sept 1. Call or email ASAP if you needed anything to change for your group on that transaction.
2 - Oct 9 - there will be a deadline coming up. This will be our first registration deadline of the year. $40 UL (Upper Level), $45 (LL), I could put the floor price here but I am sorry we are already sold out on the floor. Hurry and register soon before the lower level sells out.
3 - Bands - Unhindered will be doing worship, check them out on their website and you will see how Indianapolis April 4th will be a powerful event with great worship. Newsboys and Jeremy Camp will be playing at the event too.
4 - Facebook Event - Spread this link around to your youth group - feel free to let them use it as a tool to invite other friends and make the event known all over Indy and the surrounding states. I know some people from KY and OH will probably be coming down to the event this year: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=23179372933
4 - Final and last Update! I am working very closely with another one of our events on the tour. Amherst, MA - coming up Sept 26th. With that said, I would love for you to get in touch with me but I will be focusing very closely on Amherst as it is coming up in 4 weeks. I will be sure my assistants for Indy get back to everyone who needs help for the event until I start to get freed up.
Call or email and we will hook you up.

SAVE the DATE! And no, I’m not getting married, at least this year as far as I know.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Shawn. I work for Acquire the Fire and BattleCry and am really looking forward to the date, April 4th and let me tell you why! There will be a BattleCry event happening at the Conseco Field House. We have some great things lined up for this year. If you want to add input or feedback for the event, please pass those details on to me.
I am looking forward to gaining a plethora of knowledge about the Indianapolis area this next year and seeing students lives changed.
The last time ATF came to Indianapolis, we had over 35 000 students in the RCA dome. Did anyone bring a group to Stand Up back in 2004?
Since we’ve moved from the Muncie ATF to an Indianapolis BC, I’d like to see us be able to rally together at least 15 000 students this year.
Well I wanted to introduce myself, get the date of the event out there for everyone, and say HELLO!
No excuses, no explanations.
Shawn
